Bio:Patrick founded Zuke's in 1995 after a strenuous hike with his chocolate lab Zuke. Zuke had "bonked" leading to the invention of our healthy energizing PowerBones dog treats. The concept of performance-driven, natural and organic, nutrition today inspires our entire product line. Zuke succumbed to cancer in 2001 and was the inspiration behind Patrick's latest endeavor, founding the Dog & Cat Cancer Fund with his brother Chris.

Bio: Andria moved with Zuke's from Albuquerque, NM in 2001. Having lived her entire life within immediate reach of the outdoors, she's drawn to both the mountains and deserts that surround her in the Four Corners area. She also loves to travel and experience different places and cultures.
Name: Grant - Intergalactic Bone HustlerLocation: Durango, CO
Pets: Bentley – 2 yr old golden retriever.
Bentley has a sign that reads "Will listen for Z-Filets"
Activities: Cycling of any sort, playing Frisbee with "the boys", hiking, snowshoeing, skate skiing, wannabe rally car driving.
Bio: The access to world class roads and trails is Grant's favorite thing about Durango. On any given day, Grant can leave work and mix it up on the bike with world class cyclists that he calls friends and training partners – making the 40+ days of racing he does a year (a little) less painful! Durango is a mecca for all things outdoors. Grant bought his first Zuke's Powerbones in 1997 to fuel his best hiking buddy, Alix the Labrador. Alix recently lost her fight with cancer, making his involvement with the Dog and Cat Cancer Fund very close to his heart.
Name: Nicole - Bone CreatorLocation: Durango, CO
Pets: Bentley Toby loves Hip Action & Bentley likes his Kong filled with Z-Filets
Activities: Toby, 9 years old, has long been Nicole's running partner, and recently, Bentley, 1 year old, joined her family. Her boys love early morning runs, and since they live right across the street from the Animas River the hot summer months are filled with refreshing swims! In the winter, Nicole snowshoes and cross-country skis with Toby and Bentley running alongside in the snow.
Bio: Nicole says that every day she wakes up and is in awe of what lies right outside her door. She likes that Zuke's is in one of the most beautiful places on earth and feels lucky that she gets to spend every day living her life here with her companions. Durango is a wonderful place to get out and reconnect with nature and reconnect with her soul.

Pets: Roman the Rottie - Loves the Z-ridge bones!
Activities: Hiking and exploring with our dogs in this incredibly diverse and beautiful part of CO, working on the farm, and horseback riding and training, photography, and gardening.
Bio: Kristin says that being in the outdoors nourishes her connection with nature, and the freedom and ease that thrives there. The natural flow of the mountains and the trees and the earth supports the her newly discovered "Colorado Lifestyle" of living and enjoying life to the fullest.

Bio: David believes having access to such a large number of outdoor activities makes living in Durango unbeatable!
Name: Mark - The Bone CollectorLocation: Durango, CO
Pets: Rio - Jerky Naturals make his day.
Activities: Fishing, snowboarding, hiking and camping.
Bio: While not at work, Mark can usually be found fly fishing the area rivers and snowboarding the regions mountains. You'll find him fishing over 200 days a year and when he's not fishing or snowboarding, he can be found hanging out with his pal Rio. Rio, a Brittany, is almost 2 years old (June 12). Together they enjoy hiking and camping in the local backcountry. Rio loves to chase birds and loves to swim when he's on a river trip with Mark. Mark came from New Jersey and finds life in Colorado is amazing, with all one can ask for right out his backdoor. Mark says that "Here in Colorado we work hard so we can play hard!"

Pets: Bandit, Luna, Tango, Kona and Mia – canines that sit for Zuke's
Also – 3 horses, 2 turtles, 1 hamster and a tank full of fish
Activities: Softball, volleyball, riding atv's and horses, fishing and being outdoors.
Bio: Scott moved to Durango in 1993 from Reading, PA. He loves spending time with family, friends and his animals. He wakes up every morning thankful he lives in beautiful Colorado where he can look out at the mountains and breath the fresh Colorado air.
Name: Chris - Binary Bone BrokerLocation: San Francisco, CA
Pets: Zoe & Milo - Zoe gets her Hip Action twice a day.
Activities: Mountain Biking, Hiking and beach going with his pups.
Bio: Chris has worked with Zuke's as the website developer since Patrick was making Power Bones in his garage. During this time Chris got his Black Lab mix, Zoe and his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Washington. He and Zoe loved hiking and biking in the Cascades and after moving to San Francisco, enjoy more leisurely treks to the beautiful beaches and costal mountains of Northern California. In 2006, a rescued Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Milo, became Zoe's best friend and now the two are inseparable. Chris and Patrick have founded the Dog & Cat Cancer Fund so they can give back to the animals who have given so much to them.
