My 12 year old chocolate lab has had hip dysplasia most of her life and recently tore her acl. She had already been through 3 major surgeries for mast cell tumors this past year and at almost 12 we chose to not put her through acl surgery. researched dogs treats with chondroiton/glucosamine on the internet and came up wth zuke's all natural hip action. she has just finised her first bag at 2 to 3 treats a day. she hardly limps at all and prior to these was barely putting any weight on the leg at all. i think this was an excellent choice as i would just like her golden years to be pain free and comfortable. zukes hip action has done a great job in helping my lab remain very mobile. We train dogs here at the sanger powers correctional center. the dogs eventually go to the handicapped. Our primary training technique is positive reinforcement, where we reward the dogs when they respond to the given command. they really love zukes treats and are eager to please, knowing that they are going to get a zuke when they respond.

I have a maltese and she absolutely loves the peanut butter mini naturals. i keep some on the coffee table in the living room to give out when we do our "tricks" and after going outside to potty. my dog will sit on the floor, look at the treats, look back at me, and keep doing this until i give in and give her one. when i refill the bowl, she literally runs in circles from the kitchen to the living room, knowing she is going to get a treat. i swear, i think she would jump through fire if she thought she was going to get one of her treats! thanks for such a great enticer...oops, meant to say product.

As glucosamine has helped my aching joints, i thought it might help my 12 y.o. My pug scooter has allergies and a thyroid condition. many other "premium" treats would lead to allergic reactions, but not so with the jerky naturals. Scooter is a very picky eater and loves these treats. I break them up into several pieces and put it into his kong. i have also found the jerky naturals can also be crumbled and reformed around pills to give my dog medication.

My missy is 15 1/2 years old... And such a mix of breeds no one has an idea of what she is. we have figured out that she does have some corgi in her. I am so happy we found your jerky naturals. we have a 15 year old papillion who was a rescue from a puppy mill. we got him when he was 7. he has always been in poor health, heart disease, liver and kidney disease and cancer. over the years his appetite has been very poor and he continued to lose weight. there were many days that he would refuse to eat at all. I have been giving zuke's hip action to our recently adopted 11 year old senior siberian husky. He came to us in sad shape - skinny & lacking energy. After a few months on zuke's he is running around the yard like a puppy - leaping off of our hot tub deck and tearing it up with our other husky, a 2 year old. Shiva Loves Hip Action!

My name is shiva and i am turning 10 this spring. I eat yummy zuke's hip action with glucosamine and chondroitin regularly. This helps me to keep up while playing ball with the younger pups in the park. It also helps me walk up and down the stairs to the house that i share with my humans. All in all, it helps ward off those creaky-blues. As a tip for all the treat loving dogs out there, i find that a silly smile and lots of tail waggin' is enough to get one of the humans to give me some zuke's treats, try it and i am sure it will work for you too!

When i adopted my border collie mix, anna, she was so stiff with arthritus, she acted like a dog twice her age. the vet first put her on steroids, and then metacam. but i didn't like giving her such strong medication. then i tried zuke's hip action. by the end of the first bag she was running, and acting like a puppy!! i am so happy!! it has been 6 months and she's still going strong! thanks for such a high quality product. regards, carolyn

This may sound unbelievable. lucky is a 16-year old lab-husky mix and has always (thankfully) been in good health. i noticed that lately he was a little slower getting up and moving around. i shopped around, knew it would be difficult getting him to take pills, and picked up a small bag of hipaction (i wanted to make sure he would eat them). he loves them. i've noticed a change in under a week and they're now a part of our daily routine. thank you!

Our dog, dixie, has been our faithful companion during our long marathon training runs. Atlas is my 3-legged pit bull partner in crime... Zoey and ivan,berners who are therapy dogs visit disabled children and adults, hospitals and nursing homes and ivan performs many tricks for the residents always being rewarded by any and all flavors of your mini naturals. Tidus is the wonderful new addition to our family. training has been difficult because we couldn't find a treat he would actually pay attention to(we have bought and given away over six different kinds in just the last week!)--let alone eat! yesterday, we found these chicken mini naturals and decided to give them a try. what a godsend!! not only does he like them, he gets excited just hearing the bag open! thank you thank you thank you!!!! :)

I have a border collie/great dane mix, 75 pounds, very sweet dog. He loves pb mini naturals as training treats. They're perfect for a treat trail up a training ramp or for both ends of an agility tunnel. I figure it's about the same as giving a person one m&m. He loves the flavor. they're also good for loose leash walking training. Any activity where i expect to give 5 or 10 treats in a row, i count on mini naturals even for a big dog.

I just wanted to say thanks for making such great products. My whippet, leo, was not a food motivated dog. Now with the assistance of the mini naturals, he is has exelled at obedience training. leo would also like to comment on how much he loves the z-ridge dental bones. He has tried other "dental treats" but these are his favourites. He refuses go to bed at unless he has one. we would both like to thank you for making healthy treats to keep furkids healthy and happy.

My dog, maui is suffering from some kind of wheat allergy. i found the z-ridge bones at her groomers and decided to try one...she loved it so much that she carried it around the house with her for an hour, then she ate it. her breath smells wonderful, and i'm happy that i can give her something to chew, and freshen her breath, that won't cause her to break out in hives! thank you so much!

Hey pat, i wanted to thank you for making such awesome pet treats! i know they are totally healthy, high quality, and gaging by the dogs' drool, they must taste pretty darn great too! when i even say the word zukes, it registers off the "tail-wagging/ears perking up/happy panting" scale with my dogs! tybal (rott/german shep) and teva (lab/pitt), get zukes during and/or after our daily hikes in the sandia foothills to fuel up or refuel but also just because they are sweetie pies. the beef jerky naturals are their favorites although they love all of the mini naturals too! these make excellent training treats. i used to have to break up a treat into smaller pieces, but now i jsut give them the minis since they are convenient, plus nutritious, moist and delicious (i am assuming they are delicious ... I've actually never tried them myself!) i recently gave them the new z-ridge bones and they immediately went to their separate spots in the yard to feast and to guard their treasures. they get very selfish when it comes to their zukes! i love that the z-ridge bones are healthy, keep their teeth clean and their breath fresh! thanks again and keep up the great work!

I ordered a couple of things from an online vendor, including one carrot z-ridge dental bone. When i got the box, daisy, my boston terrier/chihuahua cross showed her usual curiousity. However, she started to go bonkers when she smelled something in the box. I've never seen her get so crazy over anythng before! she started to spin around and jump and try to get the box from me. Finally, i put it down and let her take what she wanted out of it. It was the carrot z-ridge bone! i took it from her to take off the packaging, and then gave it back. She ran around the house with it, happier than i've seen her with any thing. She even ignored the cat walking by her when she was chewing it. My border collie, louise, has food/treat restrictions. No chicken, beef, lamb, pretty much just fish or veggies. I have a little shitzu named dutch. I was giving him a lot of different brands of chew bones but every time he developed some skin allergy from them. Since i started to buy z-ridge he has had no rash or itchiness at all. He likes this bone so much that as soon as i give it to him he disappears with it till it is gone. Our older shelter-chihuahua had very few teeth left when we got her so she can't eat hard snacks. Hi there, it is a rare that i am inspired to write any company about a product, but after buying one bag of natural purrz i have to tell you how well your salmon purrz have gone over with our family cat. mia (our cat) is a huge fan, to put it lightly! i have never seen her respond to anything (including tuna out of a can) like she does with her salmon purrz, it is amazing! my six year old daughter has had more fun putting purrz in her pocket so the cat follows her around the house like the pied piper! congrats on making the first healthy treat that our cat goes crazy for. mia demands that we be loyal customers! regards, tony lottis

We just adopted our 2nd persian (both rescued from kitten mills). She's about 5 and spent most of her life in a cage. About 3 months ago, one of my outside cats flower (yes he's a boy - named after the skunk in bambi) went missing for approx. 4 days. when he finally came back he was limping so bad he wouldn't even bother walking. i took him to the vet only to discover he had somehow dislocated his hip. i kept him inside for 2 weeks with a tape sling on, when it was time for him to get the sling taken off the dr was very pleased with his ability to get around and walk but the xray showed his hip had somehow popped back out of place. they mentioned needing the $500 fho surgery in order to fix it for good. unfortunately like most - i'm not made of money, so i asked what my options were. the vet mentioned that the hip wasn't going to get worse but that it would cause arthritis to set in sooner and would probably cause him not to be as mobile as most cats his age (1yr). so one day while i was browsing the interet i came across www.catster.com. in that website there is a forum for people to discuss any issues they may have had with their cat. it was there i first heard about zuke's and how helpful it had proven to be with another cat who suffered a dislocated hip. i quickly asked them for your web address and purchased a bag of hip action treats. for 2 months now flower has been running, jumping, chasing bugs, wrestling with his brother and his hip hasn't phased him a bit. i am now in the process of ordering my 2nd batch before i run out!!

Our cat edgar lived in los angeles with us. When we decided to move to san francisco he was ten years old. The move was hardest on him. Our 13 year old cat, fairyin, was taking glucosamine in the form of liquid added to her food daily and even though she didn't like the taste of it she would eat it anyway because she knew it was making her able to walk good again. now, with your hip action cat treats she gets her daily glucosamine plus the needed chondroitin as well and she absolutely loves the taste of the treats!! it makes me really happy to see her gobble them up and watch her get to enjoy her morning soft food again without that yucky liquid remedy in it. forever grateful to you all for this "miracle" product!! thanks tons!!

I just got the cat hip action treats for my two cats. my cats love these!! i had tried 4 other products and they wouldn't touch any of them.

At night, our three cats get their "kitty cookies." all i have to do is call "kitty cookies!" and shake the bag and they all come running. they get a mixture of cat hip action and purrz. after starting this, our oldest cat (16) is now jumping up to the kitchen counters again! to see her running around, you would never know she is that old, and my husband and i agree that hip action has definitely made a big difference in her mobility. on the doggy side, i use mini naturals for training our dogs (four of them) and power bones as "rewards" after running at an agility trial. they all love them, and i love the small size of the minis for training and the nutrition of power bones for recovery after a hard day of running. thanks for such great products!!!

My 3 year old cat, hoots, was diagnosed with a knee displacia problem when she was just a year old. I was told that there was no guarantee that a surgury could even cure the problem and advised to use that option as a last resort. I found hip action treats a little over a year ago and my usually picky eater fell in love with them. I have since seen a marked improvement in her, i haven't seen her limping at all in well over 6 months and she is much more active and much happier than she used to be. My nephew has been promoting glucosamine & chondroitin for stiff, arthritic limbs of our cats jumper (19) and maggie (16)since he had good results with his collie on drug store vitamins. a recent vacation to the carolinas found us in a mast general store and in front of a table full of your fine products and they are made specifically for dogs and cats! cats at an advanced age like these two can be extremely finicky eaters but i thought this worth a try. wow!! maggie has turned her nose up at every treat set in front of her for 5 years and jumper can pick a prescription pill out of any treat or food. they are both jumping on hind legs at the sound of the bag after 1 week. they must like something here! the humidity of summer is jumpers rough time of year as his hips and rear legs stiffen. we'll keep a very close eye on how he responds here, and if this standing on hind legs continues and if maggie keeps on eating then i guess you will have a loyal new customer family! also-thanks for a very helpful website. good to know there are local stores carrying your products and that i can order direct if i need to. will let you know how jumper and maggie do with "hip action" over time. thanks fred wordell

Hi there, it is a rare that i am inspired to write any company about a product, but after buying one bag of natural purrz i have to tell you how well your salmon purrz have gone over with our family cat. mia (our cat) is a huge fan, to put it lightly! i have never seen her respond to anything (including tuna out of a can) like she does with her salmon purrz, it is amazing! my six year old daughter has had more fun putting purrz in her pocket so the cat follows her around the house like the pied piper! congrats on making the first healthy treat that our cat goes crazy for. mia demands that we be loyal customers! regards, tony lottis

Georgie, our "brown tabby retriever" (he retrieves better than the puppy) will not leave me alone since i brought natural purrz home yesturday. I always thought i was giving our cats a healthy balance of food...yet, i was terribly leary about all the gluten in their food, since we do not eat wheat ourselves, why should we give it to our cats? then this whole pet food recall really made me search for a better product than what the markets have to offer...this is when i found purrz. We just adopted our 2nd persian (both rescued from kitten mills). She's about 5 and spent most of her life in a cage. She was so timid & spent her first week in hiding...until i brought home a package of zuke's purrz! as soon as i opened the package and got closer, she crawled out to get a sniff... We left a trail all the way to a sunny window/open area. She inhaled every one.
