We are thrilled that so many pet lovers have joined the Zuke’s community recently. And, to show our appreciation, we are holding a “We Appreciate You” sweepstakes!

To enter, upload an adorable, funny or sweet picture of your pet enjoying a Zuke’s treat, begging for a Zuke’s treat or posing with a bag of Zuke’s treats by midnight on Friday (4/27/12). Make sure the picture is in focus and that we can see your pet’s face!

Just wanted to say (on behalf of Mr. Kovu Cat) thank you for making these awesome treats! Mr. Kovu is very picky about his foods & Zuke’s Natural Purrz are the only treats he will eat. He LOVES them! Every day when I get off work, first thing he jumps up on the kitchen counter & waits for me to get his treats out.

A Dynamic Dock Diving Duo are Zuke’s Advocates

Zuke’s advocates are a very special group of dog lovers that believe in the power of the human-pet connection; understand a pet’s need for love and exercise; and have chosen to help Zuke’s spread the word about the right pet nutrition for an energy-filled life. Matthew Bohn is one of these advocates and his dog, Flyer, is a Zuke’s dog!

If you ask Matthew what he does for a living, he’ll tell you that he is the general manager of his family’s used car and auto repair business. But if you ask him what he loves to do with his life, he’ll tell you about the three seasons that he and Flyer, his German Short-Haired Pointer, have been Dock Diving.

Dock Diving is a dog sport in which dogs compete in jumping for distance or height from a dock into a body of water. And although Matthew grew up with dogs, it wasn’t until he was an adult and watching a Dock Diving competition on ESPN that Matthew knew he wanted to find a canine Dock Diving partner. Since then, Matthew and Flyer have been a close team with a strong bond that comes with years of training together. Flyer goes to work with Matthew and greets customers, trains and hunts with him on the weekends and they travel together all over the country for each Dock Diving competition.

Their relationship with Zuke’s began when Flyer was eight months old. Following his first Dock Diving competition, it was clear the Flyer was experiencing soreness, stiffness and exhaustion. That was when Matthew found Zuke’s Hip Action treats. They help Flyer finish a full day of competition without any joint pain, which makes for a much happier pup!
