We always recommend you supervise your dog while they are enjoying a Z-Bone, and if you notice that your dog is not adequately chewing the Z-Bone, please take it away. My dog's urine is red, what's going on?Don't be alarmed. If you notice a change in urine color to pink or red it is an indication that your dog is digesting the bone well and excess, anti-oxidant Cherry & Cranberry is being secreted normally. We do not allow Kayla to chew on rawhide chews, Greenies, or other "plastic" bones due to GI problems that could arise. We do not want to take the chance. We saw the Z-Ridge bones at a local pet store, and after reading ingredients, I was sold on trying it out. Kayla was sold too! When we give her a Z-Ridge (a large one), it becomes playtime. She runs around with the Z-Ridge, throwing it up in the air, tossing it all around the house, until she has exhausted herself. This play continues for several days until she finally decides to chew on it. We don't let her chew on it for a long period of time, so that way it lasts longer and she can start her play routine another day. She is a pit bull mix and quite the destroyer of bones. Easy On The Tummy
Napoleon is one of those dogs who is a social butterfly and a great eater ... being french (bulldog) he'll try anything once. Unfortunately he has food allergies in particular to gluten. His treats usually consist of dehydrated banana slices or baby carrots or bit of apple but after finding out about Zukes he now gets a Z-ridge once a week for being a good boy at the office. I bought one of the new cranberry Z-Ridges for my dogs to share. However, it turned out to be so good, one of my dogs refused to share. It brought out a side of my dog's personality I had never seen! He was obsessed with it. I'm convinced it's "doggie crack." - Holly
