Serve dry or with water to help increase the taste for your dog. We recommend splitting these daily guidelines into two meals. Feeding amounts are guidelines only and may vary based on age, activity, breed, health condition, and temperature. It is important to maintain your pet’s ideal body condition for his long-term health. Be sure to offer fresh, clean water daily. We recommend your dog see the veterinarian annually.
Use a standard 8 oz/250 ml measuring cup which contains approximately 155 grams of Zuke’s Dog Food.Making the switch to Zuke’s from other pet foods should be a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days. Simply feed a little less of the current food and more of Zuke’s until you are feeding Zuke’s exclusively. This will help avoid digestive upsets.
Feeding Puppies, Lactating & Gestating Females: Zuke’s is recommended for all sizes of puppies. Zuke’s can be fed moistened or dry at the same time every day – very young puppies three times a day, older puppies twice a day. Moistened kibble should be replaced after a few hours. Use the feeding guidelines, but remember that individual needs will vary. Feed to maintain ideal body condition. Slight appetite changes and occasional digestive upsets are normal in puppies. If upsets become severe or linger longer than a day or two, contact your veterinarian.
Zuke’s provides the extra nutrition that reproducing females need for gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount necessary to maintain the pregnant female’s good body condition. Food intake will rise two to three times during lactation.
